questions going into tomorrow night's presidential debate is, which republican candidate will show up? will it be romney, the conservative, or mitt the modera moderate? on just about every issue we've seen both of them. when he's rallying the base, romney throws out red meat for the right. but when he's interviewed by the mainstream press, he tries to give his kinder, gentler side. last night romney told the "denver post" he would honor president obama's work permit program for children of illegal immigrants. that contradicts the extreme position he took during the gop debates. >> if you don't deport them, how do you send them home? >> the answer is self-deportation. people decide they can do better going home, because they can't find work here because they don't have documentation to find work here. >> when he's talking to the base, he's clear about what he would do to the president's health care law. >> if i'm president, i will repeal obama care. i will repeal obama care. we're going to get rid of obama care. >> just listen to what he told nbc news about his own health care record.
